The Everest region is certainly one of the most stunning mountain areas on earth. This short route enables trekkers who have a limited time to discover the most famous beauties of Nepal. Set amongst breath-taking high mountain scenery, the route leads through the Khumbu - Sherpa country. 2 routes are possible: Renjo Pass trek or an alternative itinerary.

Programmes
Day 01
Kathmandu:
Pick up then Transfer to hotel and handle check in. Short briefing that afternoon followed by orientation walk. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02
Sight seeing:
Around Kathmandu valley: The holy place of Pashupatinath temple, Shoyambhunath temple, Boudhanath Stupa & Kathmandu Darbar Square), arrange the necessary permit for Trekking and Climbing. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 03
Kathmandu - Phakding (2600m)
Duration: 30m flight / 3 hrs trek
Morning fly to Lukla (2800m) by plane, the 30 minutes flight gives you excellent views of high mountains ranges and beautiful valleys. Same day we trek about 3 hrs to Phakding (2600m) passing through many Sherpa village and great view of the Kusum Kangru (6369m). Overnight at lodge / camp.
Day 04
Phakding – Namche Bazar (3440m)
Duration: 6 hrs trek
Situated in an amphitheatre, the capital of Khumbu towers above the two great valleys – Dudh Kosi and Bhote Kosi. We pass through several villages and beautiful valley along the Dudh Kisi River. As we reached to the Manjo (2800m), we have to check our National Entry Permit at their office. Overnight at lodge / camp.
Day 05
Namche Bazar
Acclimatization day which gives us time for a sightseeing tour or an excursion towards the village of Thame or Khumjung, which has fantastic views of Mt. Thamserku (6608 m), Ama-Dablam (6856 m), Mt. Lhotse (8510m), Mt. Everest (8848m), Mt. Nuptse (7861m), Island Peak (6189m), Tobuche (6367m) and many mountains. Overnight at lodge / camp.
Day 06
Namche Bazar - Dole (4110m)
Duration: 5-6 hrs trek
We start to walk with spectacular views of Mt. Everest (8848m), Lhotse (8515m), views of Phortse Valley and passing through Mong Danda (3860m). Overnight at lodge / camp.
Day 07
Dole - Machhermo (4470m)
Duration: 5 hrs trek
Good views of Cho-oyu (8153m) and other mountains. Overnight at lodge / camp.
Day 08
Machhermo - Gokyo (4790m)
Duration: 4-5 hrs trek
One of the best places in Everest region. Visit around the Gokyo Lake (Dudh Pokhari). Overnight at lodge / camp.
Day 09
Gokyo: Rest day
Duration: 5 hrs trek
Morning Climb up to the Gokyo- Ri (5483m / One of the best view point of this region) and afternoon visit to 4th and 5th Lake where good views of Nozumpa glacier. Overnight at lodge / camp.
Day 10
Gokyo – Renjo Pass (5345m) – Rermo Pokhari (4875m)/ Langden
Duration: 6-7 hrs
Gentle slope up over grassy areas. The gradient becomes steeper as we go and we end by walking over screen and rocks. The access to the pass is tricky and quite steep. At the top, a stunning panorama unfolds: Tengi Ragi Tau, Rolwaling Himal and the small Rermo Pokhari lake to the west and Gyachung Kang, Everest, Lhotse, Makalu and the Gokyo lakes to the east. Overnight at lodge / camp.
Day 11
Langden – Thame (3800m)
Duration: 5 hrs trek
Via the Dudh Pokhari lakes, we descend pleasantly through meadows towards the Bhote Khosi valley to continue along the river. We will probably meet some of the picturesque yak caravans coming down from Tibet and heading to the Namche market. Overnight at lodge / camp.
Day 12
Thame - Namche Bazar (3440m)
Duration: 4 hrs trek
Many of the typical mani walls and prayer wheels are scattered on the trail to Namche.
Day 13
Trek to Lukla (2830m)
Duration: 6-7 hrs trek
Quite long walk but easy. Overnight at lodge.
Day 14
Fly back to Kathmandu.
Free day for shopping. Overnight at hotel.
Day 15
Departure
Transfer to airport for final departure to onward destination.
Camping (twin sharing tow men tent) / dining tent, toilet tent

Given itinerary is suitable for keen walkers who are able to walk for 4-5 hours in a day, As you are traveling in a remote mountain region, we can not guarantee the weather condition, it could be change unexpected. There will be experience Nepali leader or guide and helpers. The guides and their helpers’ assistants will try to ensure that the trip runs according to plan, but please be prepared to be flexible if necessary.
