This is one of the most popular trekking regions in Nepal. The region has not only attraction include spectacular scenery but also where Mt. Everest, its attendant lesser peaks and rich culture heritage. The Everest trek starts in Nepali-speaking Hindu lowlands and ends in the Tibetan Buddhist highlands where Sherpa peoples are renowned.
The Everest Region is located in the northeast of Nepal. The most visited part of this region is Solukhumbu district, home of the legendary Sherpas and the highest peak of the world, the Mt. Everest at 8848 meters. To the north of solokhumbu is Everest National Park; while to the east is the Makalu Barun National Park. The major ethnic groups that live in the Everest region are Sherpas, Rais, Tamangs, Brahmins and Chhettris. Diverse range of wildlife and vegetation are seen in the region. Animals to be sighted are mountain goat, musk deer and barking deer in the forests. Birds included Implying Pheasant (Danfe), ravens, crows, coughs and snow pigeons. The best time to visit is spring and autumn.
Popular trekking areas are Everest Base Camp, Gokyo Valley, Lukla, Pike Danda, Dudh Kunda, Salleri, Chiwong Circuit, Hinkhu, Hongu Valleys and Everest to Arun Valley. Interesting landmarks near Syangboche are Khumjung School built by Sir Edmund Hillary in 1961 and Khunde Hospital north of Namche Bajaar established in 1968. How to trek in the Everest region depends on the route chosen. Teahouse trekking is possible on the main trail to Everest Base Camp or the route up Gokyo Valley. The trail from Jiri to Lukla also hasteahouse the way.

Day 01
Kathmandu:
Pick up then Transfer to hotel and handle check in. Short briefing that afternoon followed by orientation walk. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02
Sight seeing:
Around Kathmandu valley: The holy place of Pashupatinath temple, Shoyambhunath temple, Boudhanath Stupa & Kathmandu Darbar Square), arrange the necessary permit for Trekking and Climbing. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 03
Kathmandu to Jiri (1955m)
Early morning drive to Jiri. It takes 7 hrs by normal bus. Overnight at Teahouse Lodge.
Day 04
Jiri to Deurali (2710m)
Walking around 6 hrs. The walk starts to the ridge top at 2370m then drops down to Shivalaya 1750m. We stop here for the lunch and climb up to the Deurali. This day most of the trails cross through the village and the cultivate area. Overnight at Teahouse Lodge / camp.
Day 05
Deurali to Sete (2580m)
6 hrs walking distance we reached to the Sete. Same like yesterday we cross through the local village and the walks starts drops down to the Kinja (1630m) then climb up to Sete through the mix rhododendron forest. Settlement of Sherpa people. Overnight at Teahouse lodge / camp.
Day 06
Sete to Junbesi (2670m)
Almost 6 – 7 hrs walking distance. Long and gradual climb to the Lamjura Bhanjyang at 3530m (Highest point between Jiri to Namche Bazaar) then you descends to Tragbuk at 2860 and preety Sherpa village to Junbensi. Overnight at Teahouse Lodge / camp.
Day 07
Junbesi to Nuntala (2330m)
5-6 hrs walking distance. The trails climb to Salung at 2980m, where for the first view of Mt. Everest (8848m) then gradual walk to Ringmo Khola (2570m) and climb up to Sherpa village Taksindhu (3071m) then descend to the Nuntala through the mix forest. Overnight at Teahouse lodge / camp.
Day 08
Nuntala to Bupsa (2360m)
5-6 hrs walking distance. The trails descends to the Dudh Kosi at 1490m and Climb up to Kharikola (2070m) then steep climb up to Bupsa. Overnight at Teahouse Lodge / camp.
Day 09
Bupsa to Surke (2290m) / Chablung (2660m)
5-6 hrs walking distance. The trails climb gradually offering the views of Dudh Koshi below 1000m. After get to Puiyan (2730m) then drops down to Surkhe. The trails continues to climb throught Mushe and Chaurikharka then Chablung. Overnight at Teahouse Lodge / camp.
Day 10
Surke to Manjo (2840m)
Walking around 5 hrs. It is quite easy walk along the Dudh Koshi. Overnight at Teahouse lodge / camp.
Day 11
Manjo to Namche (3440m)
Early wake-up today because this is a big push. First part is pretty easy. Today is a higher altitude day so slow and steady will work best. You can see Mount Everest (Chomo-lungma) from the new style bridge crossing at Dudh Koshi .Keep walking up to Nauje (Namche Bazaar). We will have nice hot snacks in Nauje which has many Sherpa shops, lodges, and restaurants. Nauje (Sherpa name for Namche Bazaar) is a fun place for both Sherpas and trekkers to enjoy / camp.
Day 12
Namche to Thame (3820m)
Note: instate of taking rest you can see the nice place and views. Also it is really good for Acclimatization. Morning visit to Monastery, Musume and market (Good views of Thamserki (6608m), Ama-Dablam (6856m), Kongde Ri (6178m) and more mountains. Afternoon walk to Thame. Visit to 700 yrs old monastery. Overnight at Teahouse lodge / Camp
Day 13
Thame to Khumjung (3780m)
Walking around 4 hrs. Big Sherpa village to Khumjung. Visit to Khunde Hospital, Khumjung monastery and Hilary School. Specticular views of Mt. Everest (8848m), Lhotse (8515m) and more mountains. Overnight at lodge / camp.
Day 14
Khumjung to Lhabarma (4330m)
Around 6 hours walking distance. Good views of Cho-oyu (8153m) and other mountains. Overnight at lodge / camp.
Day 15
Lhabarma to Gokyo (4790m)
5-6 hrs walking distance. One of the best place in Everest region. Visit around the Gokyo Lake (Dudh Pokhari). Overnight at lodge / camp.
Day 16
Morning Climb up to the Gokyo- Ri (5483m / One of the best view point of this region) and afternoon visit to 4th and 5th Lake where good views of Nozumpa glacier. Overnight at lodge / camp..
Day 17
Gokyo to Thangnak (4670m)
Just 2 hrs walking distance and rest cause next day we are going to cross quite long pass. Overnight at lodge / camp.
Day 18
Thangnak to Dzonglha (4830m)
7 hours walking distance. It is really exciting cross and very famous pass in this region. We need to climb up to Cho-La (5330m) then descend to Dzonglha. Overnight at lodge / camp.
Day 19
Dzonglha to Lobuche (4910m)
It is really short walk but in high altitude. Visit to Italian Research Camp, views of many mountains including Nuptse, Pumori (7165m), Khumbu Ice Fall etc. Overnight at lodge / camp.
Day 20
Lobuche to Gorakshep (5160m)
Trek to Gorakshep and same day trek to EBC (5362m) and then back to Gorakshep. Overnight at lodge / camp.
Day 21
Gorakshep to Dingboche (4410m)
Morning climb up to Kala Pathar (5545m / Best view point) and trek down to Dingboche. Overnight at lodge / camp.
Day 22
Dingboche - Tangboche (3860m)
Take it easy to go down. 4-5 hours walking distance. Visit Monastery in Tangboche. Overnight at lodge / camp.
Day 23
Tangboche to Namche (3440m)
Walking around 5 hrs. Overnight at lodge / camp.
Day 24
Namche to LUkla (2830m)
Quite long walk but easy. Imaging air strip and big town. Overnight at lodge.
Day 25
Kathmandu: Fly back to Kathmandu. Evening Shoping or laiser day.
Day 26
Departure
Transfer to airport for final departure to onward destination.
