Day 01
Kathmandu: Pick up then Transfer to hotel and handle check in. Short briefing that afternoon followed by orientation walk. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02
Sight seeing: Around Kathmandu valley: The holy place of Pashupatinath temple, Shoyambhunath temple, Boudhanath Stupa & Kathmandu Darbar Square), arrange the necessary permit for Trekking and Climbing. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 03
Kathmandu - Nyalam (3750m)-123 km.
Early morning about 6 hours drive from Kathmandu to Kodari, after completing immigration in Nepal side, The Tibetan guide will meet the group on arrival at the check post in Friendship Bridge then drive uphill to Zangmu, the first Chinese check point, after completing immigration in Zangmu, proceed to Nyalam. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04
Nyalam - Lhatse (4300m) -214 km
About 8 hours drive take you to the Lhatse crossing two spectaculars passes Nyalm pass (3800m) and Lalung-La pass (5082m). This drive offers fantastic view of High Mountain including Mount Everest (8848m). Overnight at hotel.
Day 05
Lhatse-Shigatse (3900m)-244km
It takes about 7 hours drive to Shigatse, the place of famous Tasilumpo monastery and seat of Panchan Lama until his death in 1989 with its huge Thanka wall which is clearly visible from north side of the road. If the road condition is good, drive up to 26 km along the road to Sakya monastery. It is one of the oldest and most important Bonpo monasteries in Tibet. Overnight at hotel.
Day 06
Shigatse- Gyantse (3950m) 90km.
In the morning visit Tasilunpo Monastery and free market of Shigatse. After lunch embark on a pleasant 2 hours drive to Gyantse. Where you will visit the Khumbum Stupa & Phalkar Monastery. Overnight at hotel.
Day 07
Gyantse - Lhasa (3650m)-259km
This is about 8 hours driving distance to get to Lhasa. Today we will cross two spectacular passes, the Korala (5010m) and Kambala (4794m) and Lake Yamdrok Tso. You will cross Yarlung Tsangpo (Brahmaputra) river, the Potala palace is visible in long distance. Overnight at hotel.
Day 08
Lhasa sightseeing:
After breakfast you will visit to Sera Monastery, Norbulinka (summer place of Dalai Lama), Jokhang temple and Barkhor markets. You are introduced about the interesting monastery, religion and market by our Tibetan guide. Finally, you head back to your hotel late afternoon for refreshment. Overnight at hotel.
Day 09
Lhasa Sightseeing:
fter breakfast, we take you to the Potala Palace (the palace for Dalai Lama) towering above city of Lhasa. Later in the noon after lunch, you will visit beautifully landscaped Drepung Monastery, Tibetan art center and museum. You can observe nuns and monks chanting and performing religious discourses. Finally you return to the hotel for delicious dinner. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10
Kathmandu:
Transfer to the Gangkor Airport and fly back to Kathmandu. The flight duration is 1 hr and 10 minutes and it is one of the most beautiful flights in the world. Pick up from airport and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 11
Departure: As your time excusal and programme, we departure for your next destination. Or drop to international airport for final departure.
